I am entering my thirteeth year in education and I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every single moment of my career. I am fortunate to have the love and support of my family, which includes my wife Brandy, and my two daughters Aliza and Kayli!
The first nine years of my career I was a teacher at Green Street School in Brattleboro, VT. Throughout my time as a classroom teacher I began to explore school leadership and the possibility of becoming a principal. Lucky for me, I was able to serve as an assistant principal at Chesterfield School in Chesterfield, NH and this experience has led me to Vernon Elementary School.
I am entering my third year as principal of VES and I feel so fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful school community. I believe that the most effective schools are those that value the importance of teamwork and collaboration. At Vernon Elementary School we work diligently to take advantage of all of the knowledge, wisdom and expertise that we possess. In doing this we recognize the importance of collaboration with each other and effective communication with families. At Vernon Elementary School we embrace the importance of open communication between the home and the school and feel that when we work together we will have the greatest impact on student success! |
